On-Site Construction Safety Supervisor

Summary

Join our Construction Site Safety Operations team as a valued member, utilizing excellent communication skills to identify safety hazards, provide monitoring, and deliver daily reports. This remote position reports to the Director of Safety Field Operations.

Requirements

• High school Diploma or GED oriented with effective written and oral communication skills
• Computer skills including; Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
• Successful completion of the 10-hour or 30-hour OSHA Construction Safety & Health (29 CFR 1926) Course
• Valid driver’s license and reliable motor vehicle transportation
• Ability to work on your feet for long periods of time (8+ hours per day), lift 50 -60 pounds, good hearing and vision, and work in all types of seasonal weather and temperature conditions

Responsibilities

• Ensure clients' sites perform all required actions and duties as it relates to system safety compliance; fire/life safety; safety training; required safety certification; emergency procedures, plans, and drills; and any other on-site safety/risk management compliance
• Prepare a daily safety inspection report and related audits for system readiness. Conduct weekly safety meetings, perform site orientations, and coordinate contractors and other safety personnel for daily construction activities

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 2-years of commercial building construction safety related experience
• Completion of the 30-hour OSHA Construction Safety & Health (29 CFR 1926) Course
• Knowledge of OSHA construction standard regulations and state/local building code/safety regulations
• Excellent observation skills
• Bi-lingual or multi-lingual communication skills
