On-Site Digital Court Reporter

Summary

Join eScribers, a leading provider of court reporting and transcription services, as an independent contractor. We are seeking experienced court reporters to work in person at hearings in Pennsylvania, primarily Philadelphia. You will need your own reporting equipment and a high-speed internet connection. Compensation is on a per-hour/assignment basis, including appearance fees and weekly direct deposit. Successful candidates will undergo an onboarding process. Remote and travel assignments are also available. Priority is given to reporters with excellent quality standards and high match rates based on prior experience.

Requirements

• Be legally eligible to work in the United States
• Have reporting equipment for in-person hearings (reporting software, audio interface with a minimum of four channels and microphones)
• Have digital reporting training or relevant experience
• Maintain a high degree of professionalism
• Have your own reporting equipment
• Have a high-speed Internet connection
• Have a reliable mode of transportation
• Have a current U.S. bank account to receive contract payments

Responsibilities

• Appear in person to capture the record for hearings in multiple locations in Pennsylvania (Primarily Philadelphia)
• Meet all deadlines
• Upload and download files and use other basic computer functions

Preferred Qualifications

• Maintain excellent quality standards in the submission of their assignments
• Present high match based on their former working experience
