Summary

You will contribute to the development and maintenance of open-source libraries for smart contracts and associated tools, extending the widely used OpenZeppelin Contracts library. This role involves designing and implementing new library modules, collaborating with developers and community members, and ensuring our open-source offerings meet developer needs. You will be responsible for smart contract coding, testing, documentation, and security. The ideal candidate possesses strong Solidity, Rust, or Typescript skills and a deep understanding of smart contracts and dApps. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in software development
  • 1+ years of experience developing smart contracts (Solidity or other languages)
  • Good understanding of design best practices and security in the Ethereum ecosystem
  • Prior experience working remotely: strong personal organizational skills, a love for self-time management, and ability to work collaboratively with a team
  • Advanced English communication skills β€” all of our internal and external communication is in English

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement new library modules
  • Communicate with smart contract developers and blockchain network community members to gather feedback
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the development team to make sure our open source libraries and associated tools meet developer needs and expectations
  • Be responsible for smart contract coding, testing, documentation, and security
  • Participate in open source tools development to assist developers using our library

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Rust, Typescript, React
  • Experience contributing to open source projects
