Oracle CC&B Conversion Consultant

Summary

The job involves leading data conversions for Oracle CC&B, MDM, C2M, working with clients, understanding business requirements, analyzing and designing solutions, managing technical projects, and contributing to continuous improvement. The role requires at least five years of experience in implementing or supporting these systems, a degree in relevant fields, utility industry experience, strong communication skills, and excellent knowledge of Oracle Utility software.

Requirements

• 5+ years overall relevant experience implementing and/or supporting CC&B/C2M, including consulting or services
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information System
• Utility industry experience
• Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively with clients
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Utility software; excellent communication skills
• Strong product knowledge of Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) or C2M including design, development, configuration, and enhancements

Responsibilities

• Lead the Oracle CC&B, MDM, C2M data conversions strategy, conversion designs, conversion automation tools, data mapping, and knowledge of configuration
• Work with clients to understand business requirements and design solutions
• Understand end-to-end business processes and downstream impacts to loading data into transactional tables
• Ensure a full understanding of longer-range customer needs and emerging opportunities
• Analyze, design and/or develop best practices for business solutions
• Develop an understanding of a client’s current state process and desired future state to develop technical recommendations
• Develop new and refine existing business processes used to validate the conversion success and to identify data conversion problems
• Manage a technical/conversion project delivery and lead project onsite and offshore technical teams
• Contribute to continuous improvement and development of internal processes and intellectual property
• Participate in project planning through providing expertise by defining schedules for data cleansing, estimating work, and assisting with the development of proposals
