Oracle Pl/Sql Developer

Summary

Join MWResource as a Senior Database Developer and contribute to the enhancement and evolution of a large, highly available Electricity Market Management System (MMS). You will work closely with a team of 8-15 engineers on a cloud-based solution for multi-state wholesale energy markets. This role involves advanced development, testing, integration, and tuning of MMS application software. The ideal candidate possesses a STEM bachelor's degree, significant Oracle development experience, and expertise in PL/SQL and SQL. Experience in the electric utility industry and agile/DevOps environments is highly desirable. Requirements

• Possess a bachelor's degree in “STEM” major (Science, Technology, Engineering & MATH) from an accredited university or college
• Have a minimum of four (4) years of experience in Oracle 19 (preferred) development in an on-prem or cloud-based enterprise environment
• Have hands-on experience with PL/SQL development including triggers, types, procedures, functions
• Be expert on writing and modifying extremely complex SQL queries
• Have strong knowledge of Oracle Advanced Queues, Oracle Job Scheduler
• Have strong knowledge of programming changes needed for RAC vs non-RAC implementations
• Have prior work experience in an agile environment and experience with DevOps
• Have experience with 'Security by Design' and the 10 security principles (Defense in depth, Secure by default, Least privilege, Separation of duties, Minimize attack surface, complete mediation, open design, isolated compartments, Evidence production, and Application coding best practices)
• Be authorized to work in the United States
• Pass a background check and drug screening
