Summary

The job is for an Oracle EBS Technical Developer to support a Marine Corps logistics system. The candidate will work in an Agile team, design and develop RICECPW solutions, and have 5+ years of experience in Oracle EBS Supply Chain Management modules R12/R11.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Experience in Oracle EBS Supply Chain Management modules R12/R11
  • Experience in Oracle EBS R12.2 and Oracle databases
  • Strong technical knowledge of Oracle SCM, including PO, CS, INV, IB, OM, WIP, BOM & FND modules
  • Knowledge of Oracle APIs across different EBS modules to build interfaces
  • Strong in PL/SQL, Reports, XML, SOA, BI Publisher, Alerts and Workflow development (customizations and extensions)
  • Knowledge of OA Framework (OAF) development
  • Ability to reverse-engineer highly complex modules to diagnose root cause of user-identified data issues
  • Familiar with Oracle EBS and/or SCM base tables
  • Experience with shell scripting
  • Periodically perform impact analysis of the Oracle product updates
  • Strong knowledge of developing interfaces and conversion routines
  • Deliver solutions that meet the identified SLAs
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and provide 24x7 support when required
  • Ability to be hands-on in this role to develop professional documentation and other written materials
  • Ability to adapt to changing business processes, technologies, and environments
  • Experience in requirements analysis, testing, documentation

Responsibilities

  • Design & development of RICECPW in most of the Oracle SCM modules, including PO, CS, INV, IB, OM, WIP, BOM & FND
  • Build new interfaces using Oracle APIs across different EBS modules
  • Support all technical activities and follow the processes consistent with approved Agile approach
  • Review Technical Design Documents and code to understand and gain knowledge about the functionalities of different RICECPW components
  • Review Change Requests and provide assistance in gathering requirements
  • Tune and optimize packages, stored procedures, PL SQL, and application in an Oracle 19c RDBMS environment
  • Provide technical support during the release testing phases
  • Prepare design alternatives and design specification documents
  • Manage the analysis through design and development phases related to Oracle modules
  • Produce all assigned products and deliverables with quality and on schedule

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Marine Corps / DoD supply and maintenance processes
  • Experience in Agile
  • Experience in Java Programming is a plus
  • Experience in SCM is a plus
