Summary
DT Professional Services is seeking a skilled Oracle GoldenGate Engineer to join their remote team. The candidate should have extensive experience with Oracle GoldenGate, focusing on real-time data integration, replication, and transformation in cloud-native and microservices environments. The role involves designing, implementing, and managing Oracle GoldenGate environments, collaborating with development teams, configuring and optimizing GoldenGate processes, and ensuring security and compliance.
Requirements
- Must posses a DoD issued Active Secret Clearance
- Must posses a CompTIA Security+ or higher IAT certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field OR equivalent experience may be considered
- 5+ years of experience with Oracle GoldenGate in enterprise environments
- Proven experience in implementing and managing GoldenGate within a microservices architecture
- Strong understanding of cloud-native environments and experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
- Proficiency in Oracle GoldenGate, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Experience with microservices architecture, containerization like Docker, and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
- Strong knowledge of database technologies, including Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and NoSQL databases
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data integration tools and frameworks in a microservices environment
- Knowledge of messaging and event-driven architectures like Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Prior experience in a DevOps culture with CI/CD pipelines and automation
- Advanced knowledge of cloud-based architecture, particularly within Azure focusing on data replication and integration
- Familiarity with security and compliance standards in cloud and microservices environments
Benefits
The compensation range for this position: $95,000 - $135,000 annually
