Summary
Join LeapPoint as an Organizational Design Consultant and help reshape the company's structure and operations for improved results and future growth. This remote position involves assessing the current state, designing a new organizational structure, clarifying roles, proposing efficient work organization, designing governance frameworks, establishing KPIs, supporting change management, aligning culture and strategy, facilitating leadership development, implementing and evaluating the new design. You will leverage your expertise in organizational design principles, strategic thinking, business acumen, change management, systems thinking, and communication skills. LeapPoint offers a unique and supportive work environment, and this role may require some travel.
Requirements
- 3 years+ experience and knowledge of Organizational Design principles supporting fast-paced consulting companies
- Strategic thinking: ability to align design with long-term business goals
- Business acumen: understanding the business environment, industry trends, and operational efficiency
- Change management expertise: knowledge of how to guide organizations through transitions smoothly
- Systems thinking: understanding how various parts of an organization interact and impact one another
- Leadership and communication skills: ability to work with senior leadership and employees to gain buy-in and communicate changes effectively
- Technology savvy and highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Responsibilities
- Assess Current State: Collect data through interviews, surveys, and document reviews to understand the current structure, workflows, roles, and culture within the organization
- Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, communication gaps, and areas where the structure or processes may be hindering performance or growth
- Design New Organizational Structure: Based on assessments, create a new or optimized work / company structure
- Clarify who does what within the organization, align roles with business strategy, and make scalable for growth
- Propose more effective ways of organizing work and managing resources to increase productivity
- Design Governance and Decision-Making Frameworks: Outline how decisions should be made within the organization, including leadership responsibilities, accountability systems, and communication channels
- Establish KPIs or other metrics to ensure the organization is measuring the right outcomes and driving results
- Support Change Management: Work closely with leadership and employees to manage the transition to the new structure
- Facilitate transparent communication during the change process, addressing concerns, and fostering buy-in from all levels of the organization
- Align Culture and Strategy: Ensure that the new structure supports company values and culture
- Facilitate Leadership Development and Talent Management: Align leadership capabilities with the new organizational structure and ensuring that leaders have the right skills to manage the redesigned teams and processes
- Design talent management frameworks, succession planning, and workforce development to align with the new structure
- Implement and Evaluate: Roll out the new design and provide tools, frameworks, and strategies to ensure smooth implementation
- Evaluate whether the new structure is delivering the expected results and make adjustments as needed for continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with digital transformation
- Prosci / ADKAR certification preferred
