Proficiency in medical software and strong organizational skills are essential. While prior experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant is preferred, it's not mandatory. Requirements
- Have a minimum of 6 months experience supporting US-based clients in the Healthcare space
- Have 6 Months in an orthopedic space
- Have experience with CA insurances including HMO, IPA, Medi-Cal and Medicare
- Be proficient in using medical software and technology platforms, including electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Possess strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Possess knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in managing patient records and documentation
- Have the ability to prioritize and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Be willing to undergo training and stay updated with industry trends and best practices
Responsibilities
- Support doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals in providing excellent patient care
- Assist healthcare providers in their clinical operations, ensuring efficient workflows and improving patient satisfaction
- Manage tasks in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications
- Have previous experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant or in a similar role
- Be well-versed in insurance verification, prior authorization, prescription refills, and liaising with other practices for referrals
- Have knowledge of medical coding and billing
- Be a graduate and (preferably) licensed in any Allied Health profession
