Summary

Join HeyGen's growing marketing team as an Outbound Sales Development Representative and be instrumental in defining processes and sharing best practices. This high-agency role offers the opportunity to learn and grow quickly in the AI space, focusing on expanding HeyGen's customer base. You will prospect and qualify potential customers, build programs, test new approaches, and optimize processes as the company scales. The ideal candidate is a team player with passion, drive, ownership, ambition, and commitment to HeyGen's mission. This is a contract role with a target monthly salary range of $8,000 to $9,000 + commissions. Location preference is for someone to be based in any of our HeyGen offices, but remote work is possible for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Generate sales pipeline by delivering qualified discovery meetings for the Account Executive (AE) team
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product to provide feedback and inform campaigns to book demos/meetings with target ICPs
  • Execute an Account-Based (lite) go-to-market motion where you will strategically work high-value accounts while balancing coverage through higher volume activity
  • Research and prospect ideal customers and gather key lead information through open-ended questions and thoughtful conversations
  • Serve as the first point-of-contact for prospective customers across a range of industries -- from MM businesses to some of the largest organizations in the world
  • Work in close partnership with Sales (AE), Marketing, and BDR Management to deliver a world-class customer experience for prospective customers
  • Work closely with the Account Executives & the rest of the sales team to accelerate the sales cycle
  • Develop a strong knowledge of HeyGen’s suite of products and a unique POV on the AI and video generation market

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of customer-facing experience and an interest in pursuing full-cycle sales and revenue operations
  • Excellent communication & prioritization skills, with the ability to handle a large volume of prospects and customers
  • You are intellectually curious and ambitious
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to recognize patterns and common business problems to suggest solutions
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile
  • Excited about quickly-evolving AI technology and the impact it will have on the future of work and content creation
