Outpatient Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist

Join Brave Health, a telehealth provider expanding access to high-quality mental health and substance use disorder treatment. We are seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to collaborate with our team, providing clinical guidance to Nurse Practitioners and managing a patient caseload. This remote position offers the flexibility of working from home and opportunities for professional growth within our expanding organization. We offer both 1099 and full-time W2 employment opportunities. The ideal candidate will be passionate about telehealth, possess strong interpersonal skills, and be comfortable working collaboratively in a virtual environment. Experience with children and adolescents, addiction treatment, and managed care is highly valued.

Requirements

• MD or DO; must be willing to obtain additional state licenses
• Board certified in Psychiatry required; child/adolescent psychiatry board certified a plus
• Experience with and knowledge of managed care, Medicaid and private payers
• Eligibility to work in the United States. We are not able to provide or assist with visas or attaining work eligibility
• Fluency in English

Responsibilities

• Serve as a collaborator for Nurse Practitioners (NPs), providing clinical guidance as needed
• Carry your own patient caseload
• Work closely with Clinical Supervisors to assist with the review of internal policies/practice guidelines, chart review/audits, case consultation, and general guidance to improve clinical outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a collaborative role with Nurse Practitioners
• Experience in Addiction, SMI, SUD, Dual Diagnosis
• Experience working with children and adolescent psychiatry patients
• Active DEA and DEA X waiver
• Awareness of and compliance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2
• Prior Supervising/Collaborative Physician Experience with Nurse Practitioners
• Experience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Treatment
• Prior telehealth experience
• Proficiency in other languages, particularly Spanish
