Summary
Join Roofr as an Outside Sales Representative and play a crucial role in capturing and qualifying leads at events and remotely. You will represent Roofr at industry events, engage with potential customers, and ensure seamless lead handoff to the sales team. This role requires 2+ years of experience in a similar SDR role, strong interpersonal skills, and familiarity with sales tools. Roofr offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary of $60-70k plus a 33% variable, along with various benefits such as flexible time off, paid time off, RRSP/401k match, and a remote-first culture. The role involves a mix of remote work and attending industry events. You will be responsible for meeting quotas, managing customer expectations, and contributing to sales process improvement.
Requirements
- Previous experience attending industry events or trade shows in a similar role
- 2+ years of experience in related SDR role
- Has experience in B2B Saas Sales
- Self-starter, highly detail-oriented, quick learner, able to think on your feet
- Strong interpersonal skills and a creative problem-solving approach
- Ability to take feedback, make adjustments, and handle objections
- Comfortable on the phone, strong email writing skills and happy to handle objections
- Uncover potential opportunities by having conversations and setting meetings with prospective buyers
- Familiarity with sales tools: Hubspot, Aircall, Intercom or equivalents
- Ability and willingness to perform manual labor (carrying boxes, setting up booths, etc.)
- Valid driverβs license
Responsibilities
- Learn about Roofr, our industry and competitors, and our value proposition
- Execute a high number of daily activities (Calls, emails, social selling, etc.)
- Attend roofing industry events, trade shows, and conferences to generate leads
- Conduct on-the-spot helicopter demos showcasing Roofrβs value proposition
- Manage booth setup, teardown, and event logistics
- Drive revenue growth by connecting with roofing professionals in the field
- Connect with and qualify inbound leads
- Build and establish rapport with multiple levels of buyers
- Understand the prospects needs and effectively communicate how Roofr will help
- Partner with Account Executives and collaborate on how to hand off qualified sales opportunities
- Document various details including use cases, purchase timeframes, and next steps
- Meet monthly, quarterly and annual quotas
- Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction
- Provide detailed and accurate pipeline forecasting and maintain data hygiene
- As part of a startup team, help define and improve sales processes, strategies, tactics, and help our customers navigate our tools with ease
Preferred Qualifications
- Roofing and/or construction experience is a plus
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus
