Summary

Join our team in Manila as a Paralegal and help the legal team stay on top of corporate compliance and manage global entities. You'll handle tasks from keeping company files and registrations up to date to collaborating with other departments.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the same/similar role
• Familiarity with corporate law in the jurisdiction where you have practiced
• Prior experience working in a global legal department is a bonus (but not needed)

Responsibilities

• Keeping company files and registrations up to date by preparing resolutions and annual reports, and completing declarations and filings for multiple jurisdictions worldwide
• Collaborating with other corporate departments to assist with various reporting and compliance matters, and updating minute books
• Assisting in the preparation and filing of corporate documents such as incorporation, registration, amending declarations, and annual reports
• Preparing various corporate documents, including lists, meeting minutes, reports, and charts, while managing corporate deadlines for companies in various jurisdictions globally
• Conducting research in company registries and requesting eligibility and conformity certificates
• Reviewing, proofreading, and formatting documents, drafting correspondence, and ensuring follow-up
• Supporting the legal team with knowledge management, including learning and development initiatives and events
