Requirements

• Has at least one year of experience working in a U.S. probate law firm
• Holds a bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field
• Is bilingual in English (C1 or higher) and Spanish , both spoken and written
• Demonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail while managing multiple tasks
• Has proficiency in legal research, writing, and drafting legal documents
• Is skilled in Microsoft Office, specifically Word
• Can work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
• Permanently resides in Latin America
• Owns a reliable laptop (Windows or Mac, 2017 or newer) with a stable internet connection

Responsibilities

• Assist with probate administration, including drafting and filing legal documents
• Manage the probate process from start to finish
• Gather and organize documents for probate and estate planning
• Prepare estate planning documents like wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents
• Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, and other parties in English and Spanish
• Handle e-filing, track deadlines, and manage correspondence
• Answer and route phone calls professionally
