Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification from an accredited institution
  • Proficiency in CLIO Practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Conduct title searches and review property records
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and deeds
  • Assist in the closing process, including organizing and coordinating closing documents
  • Manage and maintain client files, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
  • Communicate with clients, lenders, and other parties involved in real estate transactions
  • Coordinate with title companies and surveyors to resolve title issues
  • Assist attorneys in legal research and analysis
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling, filing, and document management
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a real estate paralegal
  • Knowledge of real estate law and related regulations
  • Strong work ethic and dedication to client service
