Join Fiffik Law Group as a skilled Paralegal specializing in estate planning. You will support attorneys, manage casework, draft legal documents, and communicate with clients. This remote position (Pennsylvania-based) demands excellent organizational skills, strong legal knowledge, and attention to detail. Responsibilities include estate planning administration, such as drafting wills and trusts, and litigation support, such as assisting with case preparation and document review. The ideal candidate possesses a minimum of two years of relevant experience and proficiency in legal research tools.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on estate planning
  • Strong understanding of litigation and estate planning processes, terminology, and legal standards
  • Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw) and case management software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents
  • Prepare estate administration documents, including probate filings and inventory reports
  • Communicate with clients to gather information and assist with document execution
  • Maintain accurate records for estate planning clients, ensuring compliance with legal requirements
  • Assist attorneys with case preparation, including document review, discovery, and trial preparation
  • Draft pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and other legal documents
  • Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries or chronologies
  • Manage case files, including electronic filing in federal and state courts
  • Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff to ensure timely filings and case progress

Preferred Qualifications

  • Paralegal certificate or degree in legal studies
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal court systems
  • Experience with e-filing systems (e.g., PACER, state court systems)
