Summary
Join Little Otter, a childhood mental health company, as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)! In this role, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based 1:1 parenting sessions virtually to families with children aged 0-14. You will develop and implement care plans, track progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Requirements
- Masters degree in Child Development, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field
- Holds a Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification (BCBA)
- Experience providing caregiver training and evidence based interventions to caregivers of children ages 0-14 years old
- Comfortable with technology and interested in incorporating technology solutions into clinical care
- Comfortable delivering care via telehealth
- Believe strongly in multi-disciplinary care and measurement-based methods and interested in learning and collaborating with the best early childhood mental health professionals in the country
- Self-directed and feel comfortable in a startup environment that is changing and growing quickly
- At least 2 years of experience as a BCBA
- Model empathetic support and feedback when you work with parents
- Excellent communicator (verbal and written)
- Loves working with children and families and is passionate about mental health!
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based 1:1 parenting sessions via the Little Otter platform for families and caregivers (children ages 0-14 years old)
- Develop observable and measurable goals for families in collaboration with therapists, psychiatrists, and other parenting specialists
- Develop care plans to address specific family concerns and challenges
- Help parents track success and setbacks, provide resources, strategies, and feedback
- Deliver care to families through video and chat, providing caregiver education, caregiver training, and 1-on-1 coaching
- Complete clinical documentation using the Little Otter platform for each patient including intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans
- Participate in regular collaborative care meetings
- Meet regularly with the Little Otter leadership team to share experiences and insights, give feedback, and contribute to the development of Little Otter
