Patient Safety Associate

Summary

Join our team as a Patient Safety Associate (PSA) to be a key member of our Patient Safety Team, partnering closely with internal teams to provide subject matter resources and guidance on patient safety and clinical risk concerns.

Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited University/college in social work, human services, counseling, psychology, or another closely related field
• Active and unencumbered clinical behavioral health license (i.e., LCSW, LMFT, LPC/LPCC, LP) in any state
• 3+ years of experience working with adults as a mental health clinician post-Masters
• Advanced communication skills (written and oral)
• Advanced competency using Google products (G-sheets, Drive, Google Docs, etc.) with the ability to learn new technology and systems efficiently

Responsibilities

• Partners closely with internal teams to offer subject matter resources and guidance both internally and externally to providers and patients regarding patient safety and clinical risk concerns
• Resolves questions, concerns, and provider needs related to receiving and delivering clinical risk safeguard and proper patient care at Rula
• Offers a broad knowledge base of clinical-risk documentation, licensing regulations, patient safety and clinical risk best practices, including the code of ethics for all behavioral health professions
