You will collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand and translate payroll compliance requirements for designated countries, primarily from Spanish to English. Your responsibilities include analyzing legislation, developing test plans, conducting rigorous testing, resolving compliance queries, and identifying compliance vulnerabilities. You will work closely with development teams to ensure the PaySpace by Deel system remains compliant. This role requires strong analytical skills, experience in software business analysis and testing, and proficiency in Spanish and English. Requirements
- Understanding of analysing business requirements in a development environment
- Experience in SaaS or technology-driven environments
- Ability to create comprehensive test conditions for all scenarios
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- Working proficiency in Spanish and English (speaking and writing)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand payroll compliance requirements
- Analyse legislative payroll requirements and verify business, legal, and system needs
- Anticipate future business and system requirements through research and analysis
- Develop and maintain a test plan covering all testing areas
- Test technical specifications rigorously after development to ensure accuracy
- Log bugs, requests, enhancements and investigations on internal software programs
- Resolve compliance support queries for designated countries promptly
- Complete assigned tasks within reasonable timelines
- Communicate development schedule or timeline issues proactively
- Identify compliance vulnerabilities and risk areas
- Translation of country-specific legislative documents from the official language (Spanish) of the build country to business English
- Configure and test payroll elements for compliance, and create clear, developer-friendly documentation to drive accurate coding by the Development Department
- Analyse advisory packs and hold meetings to clarify legislative compliance requirements
- Define and document functional and legislative build requirements with Payroll BAs
- Identify and escalate new system configuration for country-specific legislative requirements
- Lead country legislative build, manage task delivery and communicate any delays to ensure timely project completion
- Collaborate to create specifications and development tickets for payroll calculations and features
- Ensure product delivery aligns with country-specific requirements and resolve configuration & compliance issues
- Collaborate with BAs and QA to ensure project builds meet legislative compliance standards
- Conduct post-deployment meetings to the relevant stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree in business, IT, or a related field
- Experience in local payroll legislation
