Summary
Join Oyster's People Experience team as a People Experience Specialist and make a meaningful impact on our operational solutions and programs. You will automate and enhance People Operations workflows, analyze data, support international employees, and collaborate on people projects. This fully remote position requires experience in People Operations or People Experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage complex employee queries. Requirements
- Experience working within a highly collaborative and cross-functional People Operations or People Experience role
- Experience responding to and managing complex employee queries
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build cross-functional relationships
- Experience applying HR principles and practices when navigating employee queries
- Ability to handle sensitive information independently and an awareness of the criticality of data privacy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong Project Management skills with the ability to define, craft and deliver pieces of work in an agile environment
- A reliable home internet connection (or be able to get one)
- Fluent English language skills
Responsibilities
- Build the exciting People Operations products we develop to ensure they are built with purpose, utility, and customer experience in mind
- Grow your People Operations acumen as a first-line point of contact for employee queries and in support of our People Operations services
- Automate and improve People workflows throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, compensation and reward, and performance management
- Make sure our people databases are impeccably up to date so that you can help us run reports that give us insights into making Oyster a continuously better place to work!
- Write clear and succinct articles for our knowledge base, and to help our employees navigate our exciting initiatives
- Support us in carrying out a seamless onboarding experience for our new joiners (after youโve had a great one yourself!)
- Give your input on the exciting People Operations products we build to ensure they are built with purpose, utility and customer experience in mind
- Identify areas for improvement in existing People programs and operations and propose and contribute to new initiatives to address gaps and ensure our programs scale and grow with our business
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with project management, documentation and collaboration tools such as Asana, Notion, Loom and Miro
- Working within a globally distributed company
