Summary

Join Komodo Health as a part-time People Operations Associate for a 12-week contract (20 hours/week)! You will play a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience and supporting our mission to improve healthcare through data-driven insights. This role is crucial for building a positive and high-performing culture. You will manage onboarding/offboarding, serve as a point of contact for employee questions, maintain employee records in Workday, assist with benefits administration, support payroll, and help develop HR policies. The position requires proficiency with Workday, HR knowledge, strong analytical and communication skills, and attention to detail. Requirements

  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms Workday, and strong data management abilities
  • Solid understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment law compliance
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, interpret, and report on HR data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear, empathetic, and professional interactions
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • High level of discretion and integrity in handling confidential information

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes, including I-9 verification, background checks, orientation, exit interviews and final paperwork
  • Serve as the main point of contact for employee questions through the People teamโ€™s Jira ticketing system, ensuring timely and accurate responses
  • Maintain and update employee records in Workday, including processing job changes (promotions, transfers, compensation adjustments) and auditing data for accuracy
  • Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, employee inquiries, and communication with benefits providers
  • Support payroll operations by collaborating with the payroll team to ensure timely and accurate compensation and deductions
  • Help develop, implement, and communicate HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations
