Summary

Requirements

  • HR/Compensation Data Experience: 3+ years in People Analytics, Compensation, or similar HR data-heavy roles. Experience with HR systems like Rippling or Greenhouse is a plus
  • Analytical & Technical Skills: Expert-level proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (complex formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, automation)
  • Data Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience cleaning, transforming, and analyzing structured datasets. Experience with SQL or scripting (Python, Apps Script) is highly valued
  • Automation Mindset: Experience streamlining workflows using automation tools (e.g., Google Apps Script, Zapier, Python)
  • Detail-Oriented: Ability to spot and fix inconsistencies, and to build clean, scalable solutions
  • Clear Communicator: Able to explain data logic and findings to non-technical stakeholders
  • Adaptable & Proactive: Thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes ownership without heavy supervision

Responsibilities

  • Analyze compensation and people data (e.g., pay bands, headcount, attrition) to identify patterns, trends, and risks
  • Build, improve, and maintain advanced dashboards and reports in Google Sheets and Looker Studio for stakeholders across People
  • Automate manual People Ops processes (e.g., data cleaning, report generation) using tools like Google Apps Script, Python, or no-code platforms
  • Audit and reconcile compensation and people data from systems like Rippling, Greenhouse, and Google Sheets databases to ensure quality and consistency
  • Support compensation cycles with data preparation, analysis, and reporting under tight deadlines
  • Partner with People Ops to design and implement scalable workflows that reduce manual effort
