Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in software engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant discipline with 4 - 6 years of experience in a related field
- Proven experience in performance architecture, engineering, or related roles, preferably within a technology-focused environment
- Strong understanding of performance testing tools and methodologies
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python
- Experience with APIs and Performance testing benchmarks
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive performance testing strategies and frameworks that ensure system reliability, scalability, and responsiveness across applications
- Analyze system architecture and application designs to identify performance issues and recommend optimizations
- Design, develop and debug performance tests
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to design performance benchmarks, monitoring solutions, and dashboards that provide real-time insights into system performance
- Facilitate workshops and discussions with cross-functional teams to gather performance requirements and align on performance goals
- Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to define performance objectives for new features and enhancements
- Estimation of future system requirements and infrastructure scaling to accommodate increased user load
- Research and identify performance tooling, as needed
- Conduct thorough performance assessments, including load testing, stress testing, and capacity planning, to identify system bottlenecks and areas for improvement
- Recommend and implement architectural improvements and optimizations based on assessments findings to enhance overall system performance
- Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of complex performance-related issues in production and staging environments, ensuring minimal impact on users
- Develop and maintain documentation of performance issues, resolutions, and best practices to create a knowledge base for future reference
