Physician (APP Supervision) - Virtual Health Assessment

Summary

Join Oscar Medical Group as a 1099 Supervising Physician providing remote oversight to Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) via telemedicine. You will not provide direct patient care but will supervise nurse practitioners and physician assistants, ensuring compliance with state regulations. This 100% remote position requires Georgia residency and a Georgia medical license. Compensation is $300 per APP per month, with malpractice insurance covered by Oscar Medical Group. The ideal candidate will have experience supervising NPs and PAs, along with a strong clinical background in urgent care, ER, or outpatient family medicine. Additional qualifications such as telemedicine experience and fluency in Spanish are preferred.

Requirements

• Board-certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Supervision experience of Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA)
• Must live in Georgia
• Must have an active state license in Georgia
• 3+ years clinical experience in urgent care, ER or outpatient family medicine practice

Responsibilities

• Provide direct oversight and supervision of nurse practitioners and physician assistants within state by state regulations
• Collaborate with MAs, RNs, and other providers across service lines
• Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of Telemedicine experience
• Fluent in Spanish
• Must have a compact license or be eligible for IMLCC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact)
• Licensed in OMG states: MI, IL, CT, PA, NC, OK, VA, TX, FL, OH
