This remote position is for South African citizens only and requires specific internet and power backup solutions. The role demands accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. No training is provided; prior experience is essential.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in U.S. Physician/Professional Medical Billing
• Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes
• Familiarity with U.S. healthcare insurance payers, including denials and appeals
• Experience using medical billing software systems
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Handle the complete end-to-end physician billing process for professional healthcare services
• Apply accurate CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
• Submit clean claims to payers, follow up on denials, and manage appeals
• Work with U.S. insurance companies and understand reimbursement workflows
• Use billing software systems to manage and process claims efficiently
• Maintain thorough documentation and uphold compliance standards
• Identify and resolve billing discrepancies independently
