Join Dane Street, a national provider of Group Health Review services, as an independent contractor physician to provide medical necessity reviews. This telework opportunity offers a flexible schedule and customized caseload, allowing you to supplement your income. As an independent contract reviewer (1099), you'll be compensated per case, with an average review time of 10-15 minutes. Training is provided and takes less than a week to complete. You'll determine the medical necessity of treatment requests and appeals, offering advisory opinions only; no patient care is involved. Requirements

• Current, unrestricted Medical License
• Active Practice
• Board Certified

Responsibilities

• Address the medical necessity of treatment requests and, in appeals, the medical necessity of previously denied services
• Maintain an active practice while completing reviews
• Choose services and case types
• Dictate volume of work
• Conduct work based on scheduled availability
