PL Line Lead Actuary

Requirements

• FCAS mandatory
• 6+ years of actuarial experience; commercial insurance and product management experience preferred
• Communication and collaboration - work effectively with cross functional partners

Responsibilities

• Be the #1 subject matter expert at Next related to the pricing of the Professional Liability product
• Build and enhance actuarial methodologies around loss ratio forecast, rate indications, insurance analytics, and P&L management
• Partner with Insurance Product Managers to drive future product developments
• Partner with data science and data engineering to enable future-proof data architecture
• Deliver actuarially sound recommendations to senior management
• Provide ad hoc support to other business partners, including but not limited to reinsurance, finance, distribution, claims, and growth teams
