Platform Data Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or a similar role
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
• Experience working with AWS technologies, including RDS, Redshift, Glue, Athena, and Sagemaker
• Knowledge of data warehousing and data lake concepts
• Experience with data modeling and ETL processes
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using AWS technologies like RDS, Redshift, Glue, Athena, and Sagemaker
• Transform raw data into a structured format suitable for analysis and consumption by data products
• Ensure data quality by implementing data validation and cleansing processes
• Adhere to data governance standards and best practices to protect data integrity and security
• Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and product teams to understand their data requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs
• Stay up-to-date with the latest data engineering technologies and trends to drive innovation and improve efficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in AWS technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analyst, AWS Certified Big Data - Specialty)
• Experience with data visualization tools like QuickSight
• Knowledge of machine learning and AI concepts
