Summary

Amber Labs is seeking a Platform Manager to join their UK-based team. The role involves managing the platform infrastructure, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring its reliability, scalability, and security. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, strong experience with SC/NPPV3 and OCI combination, proficiency in Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Strong experience with SC/NPPV3 and OCI combination
• Proficiency in Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand infrastructure requirements and implement solutions accordingly
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal performance and uptime
• Conduct regular security assessments and implement measures to protect against security threats
• Automate routine tasks to improve efficiency and scalability
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies to continuously improve our platform infrastructure

Preferred Qualifications

• NPPV3 certification is highly preferred
• Candidates with 1Z0-997-21: Certified Oracle Cloud Infrastructure will be prioritized
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
