Platform Engineer

Summary

Join TIMOCOM as a Platform Engineer and contribute to a team developing and maintaining cloud-based platform solutions. Work remotely or utilize flexible office spaces. You will be responsible for deploying Azure services, developing the internal Kubernetes platform, collaborating with developers, and supporting internal users. The role requires several years of experience with Terraform and Kubernetes, strong English and German language skills, and a commitment to high-quality code. Requirements

• Bring several years of professional experience in development with Terraform and Kubernetes
• Have good English (from B1-2) and German skills (B2) to communicate well in your team
• A high level of quality awareness is important – especially with regard to clean code, usability, automated testing and a functioning CI/CD

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the provision of various Azure Services according to the Platform Engineering approach
• Further develop the internal Kubernetes-based platform and ensure maintenance and operation
• Work closely with our developers in an agile environment
• Advise and support internal users of our platform
• Discover and test new technologies and (cloud) services

Preferred Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Azure, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring with Grafana & Prometheus are desirable
• You have an interest in further training in the area of cloud & multitenancy architecture as well as GitOps
• You are characterized by your strong problem-solving skills
