Join the Policy and Regulatory Affairs State Team at Zoox as an Intern to support the deployment of the Zoox robotaxi and lead independent policy research and analysis on autonomous vehicle state-level regulations.

Requirements

• Prior work or significant internship experience in federal, state, or local government policy is required
• Experience in California policy, legislative, or regulatory affairs is a bonus
• Demonstrated leadership, project management, and organizational skills
• Demonstrated examples of high-level research and policy analysis
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree

Responsibilities

• Have a valuable opportunity to tackle a substantive, independent project on state-level autonomous vehicle policy
• Have the chance to learn from industry-leading experts, gain critical insight into state-level political considerations for autonomous vehicles
• Get an on-the-ground understanding of the regulatory processes enabling the deployment of a purpose-built robotaxi in some of America's densest and most congested cities

Benefits

• Monthly salary range: $5,500 to $7,500
