Summary

Join the Koch Internship Program (KIP), a 10-week paid experiential learning program offering meaningful work at non-profits nationwide. The program includes virtual professional development sessions and a stipend ($5,500 or $3,300 depending on hours). Successful candidates will interview with both partner organizations and Stand Together Fellowships staff. The Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI) offers internships in various policy areas, communications, and marketing. Interns work alongside experts, gaining professional growth and potentially shaping their experience. Past interns have secured positions in various sectors, and several current CEI staff are former interns.

Requirements

  • Possess a strong interest in policy and politics, capitalism and economics, and libertarian/conservative principles
  • Have strong research, writing, and organizational skills
  • Possess a professional demeanor and the ability to handle confidential and private information
  • Be able to work independently, effectively, and efficiently
  • Have a basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Responsibilities

Research important policy issues, including regulatory reform, banking and finance, energy and environment, technology and telecommunications, antitrust, trade, labor, transportation, healthcare, and asset forfeiture

Preferred Qualifications

In-person internship (but remote work is open)
