Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
• Have 5+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI administration, report development, and data modeling
• Be proficient in creating compelling visualizations, reports, and dashboards using Power BI
• Possess a strong understanding of data transformation, manipulation, and cleansing within Power BI
• Have experience with optimizing performance and troubleshooting issues in Power BI reports and datasets
• Be familiar with data governance and security practices for maintaining data integrity
• Have the ability to translate complex business requirements into effective Power BI solutions
• Possess excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer the Power BI platform, including user access, security settings, and data source connections
• Design and implement Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models to meet business requirements
• Collaborate with data analysts, business stakeholders, and technical teams to understand reporting needs and provide tailored solutions
• Monitor and optimize the performance of Power BI reports and datasets to ensure responsiveness and data accuracy
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data connections, visualizations, and report generation
• Implement best practices for data governance, version control, and data source management within Power BI
• Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, updates, and capabilities, and assess their relevance to our business needs
• Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI functionalities and best practices
• Participate in the integration of Power BI with other data-related tools and systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Have knowledge of SQL, data warehousing, and ETL processes
• Hold relevant certifications in Power BI administration or data visualization
