Power BI Developer

Summary

Join ALTEN Mexico as a Power BI Developer Med to perform enterprise data analytics services focused on supply chain, business, and finance. You will convert legacy Power BI reports to Medtronic GSC INSIGHTS, following GSC INSIGHTS development guidelines. Responsibilities include developing, inspecting, mining, transforming, and modeling data to improve decision-making. You will perform statistical analysis, manage end-to-end data processing, maintain analytical systems, and liaise with the business. Building statistical models and predictive models to enhance productivity is also required. Requirements

• Software Engineering, Telematics, or Data Analytics
• Power BI: Snowflake, Enterprise Data Analytics
• Languages and Tools: DAX, SQL, UI/UX and Design, JavaScript Programming, Python
• Master Data: Experience in Supply Chain (Commercial Operations, Distribution, Transportation)
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
• Advanced English
• Experience in data model design and building data structures
• Proficient in SQL, SQL Server, ETL, SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS software systems
• Experience working in and with Agile delivery teams

Responsibilities

• Develop, inspect, mine, transform, and model data to increase productivity, improve decision-making, and gain a competitive advantage
• Perform statistical analysis on data and information to ensure accurate predictive forecasting or classification
• Manage all aspects of end-to-end data processing using customized system reporting functions
• Maintain analytical systems, verify data accuracy, and act as a liaison with the business
• Build statistical models such as Decision Trees, Word Clouds, and Regression
• Create Predictive Models and prescribe actions to enhance productivity
• Conversion of legacy Power BI reports to Medtronic GSC INSIGHTS
• Follow GSC INSIGHTS development guidelines for both front-end and back-end development
