Power BI Developer/Analyst

Summary

Join Enformion, a data and analytics company, as a Power BI Developer/Analyst. You will design and implement business intelligence solutions using Power BI, gathering and analyzing business requirements to create insightful reports and dashboards. This role requires collaboration with stakeholders, data manipulation using Power Query and DAX, and ensuring data accuracy. You will also provide user training and support. The ideal candidate possesses strong Power BI, SQL, and data visualization skills. A bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required.

Requirements

• Proven experience in developing and deploying Power BI reports and dashboards
• Strong knowledge of Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power Query, and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
• Experience with data modeling and transforming raw data into actionable insights
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Proficiency in data visualization best practices and principles
• Ability to work with large datasets and integrate data from different sources (SQL, Excel, etc.)
• Good understanding of business intelligence concepts and data warehousing
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and implement business intelligence solutions using Power BI to meet business needs
• Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into clear and actionable reporting and analytics solutions
• Build, maintain, and enhance Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations that provide actionable insights for business users
• Utilize Power Query, DAX, and other Power BI tools to manipulate and transform data from multiple sources
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reports
• Collaborate with business users and cross-functional teams to optimize reporting solutions
• Integrate data from various sources like SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, and others to create consolidated reporting solutions
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, outliers, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Continuously optimize and improve BI reports and dashboards for better performance
• Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and reports

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI administration and security is a plus
• Familiarity with other BI tools
