Requirements

  • Strong experience in data engineering concepts and tools (ETL/ELT, data lakes, data warehouses)
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Pipelines, Notebooks)
  • Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL
  • Experience with Paginated Reports and Power BI Report Builder
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to lead projects and deliverables and communicate effectively with leaders

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models to support business decision-making
  • Build and maintain data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric (including Dataflows Gen2, Lakehouses, and Pipelines)
  • Develop and publish Paginated Reports using Power BI Report Builder and integrate them into Power BI Service
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable BI solutions
  • Optimize data models for performance and usability in Power BI
  • Implement row-level security (RLS) and manage Power BI workspace permissions
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data refreshes, report performance, and data quality issues
  • Stay current with Power BI and Microsoft Fabric updates and best practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for Power BI deployments
  • Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data cataloging
  • Understanding of business processes in domains such as finance, sales, or operations
