Power BI/OBIEE Developer

Summary

Join our team as an experienced Power BI/OBIEE Developer to design, develop, and deploy scalable business intelligence solutions. You will create interactive dashboards, data models, and reports using Power BI and OBIEE. Strong analytical and technical skills are essential to transform complex data into actionable insights. This role requires some on-site presence (a few days per month), with the potential for more in 2025. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in data visualization, modeling, analysis, integration, and performance optimization. Collaboration with stakeholders and thorough documentation are also key responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and OBIEE
• Ensure visualizations are intuitive, user-friendly, and meet business requirements
• Create and maintain efficient data models, including star and snowflake schemas
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
• Connect to various data sources (databases, APIs, and flat files) to gather, transform, and prepare data for reporting
• Develop custom queries, measures, and calculated fields in Power BI and OBIEE
• Optimize performance of dashboards and reports for faster load times and improved usability
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data accuracy, report performance, and visualization design
• Work closely with stakeholders, business analysts, and data engineers to gather requirements and deliver solutions
• Document technical specifications, data models, and report development processes
