Power Platform Architect

Summary

Join Encora as a Power Platform Architect and lead the design and development of Power Platform and Dynamics 365 solutions. You will be a hands-on developer, working directly with clients to understand their needs and leverage Microsoft tools to solve business problems and automate processes. Responsibilities include promoting coordination across technical streams, ensuring solution integration, and adhering to best practices for development, deployment, and security. You will also focus on improving the end-user experience and system processes. This role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect certification. Experience with Power Platform, Dataverse, Azure services, and various programming languages is essential.

Requirements

• Have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related scientific, technical discipline or equivalent
• Have Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect (Required)
• Have experience as lead architect using Power Platform, Power Apps, Dataverse and/or other databases including SQL
• Have experience of working with wider Microsoft Azure stack such as Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus and PowerBI
• Be proficient in at least one modern programming language such as C#, C++, JSON, Python, Javascript, SQL, etc
• Have experience managing work, checking in code and administering the Azure Ecosystem
• Have experience in data modeling and query tools
• Have extensive presentation and demonstration experience resulting in empowering users with Power Platform skills

Responsibilities

• Be the lead architect and hands-on developer of Power Platform and Dynamics365 based solutions using Dataverse
• Understand our Client’s needs, how they operate, and how to best utilize Microsoft’s available tools in their Power Apps & Dynamics365 environments, to resolve business problems and improve/automate processes, provide rich business logic and workflow capabilities transforming manual business operations into digital, automated processes
• Promote and facilitate co-ordination of all technical streams within a Power Apps / Dynamics365 environment to achieve successful delivery of an integrated solution
• Lead the development and support of solutions which address a range of business needs, including utilizing Model-driven Apps, Canvas Apps, Power Pages, Dataverse and associated components such as plugins and Javascript
• Ensure that Dataverse customizations are modelled correctly and implemented using Microsoft best-practices to ensure a performant and low maintenance solution
• Ensure that best practices are defined and adhered to; provide recommendations on improvements; technical analysis on projects; drive efficiencies through optimization and automation
• Follow-up and ensure that best practice CI/CD and automated deployment procedures are followed
• Ensure that Non-Functional Requirements are defined clearly and met by the solutions proposed, including performance and security requirements
• Ensure security best practices are implemented, maintained and audited utilizing the client’s governance guidance
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve the end-user experience and/or system processes
