As a Power Platform Test Engineer, you will design, develop, and execute test plans for SaaS cloud applications. You will validate various Power Platform components and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This remote position requires 5+ years of testing experience with Power Apps and 3+ years with Power Automate. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with testing tools and techniques built in Power Apps, both canvas and model-driven
- 3+ years of experience with Power Automate flow logic, triggers, and connectors
- Solid understanding of Dataverse, its schema, data types and relationships, as well as familiarity with MS Power Platform validation tools
- Exposure to Power BI, including data models, DAX expressions and report testing
- Experience with Power Platform ALM (Application Lifecycle Management)
- Experience with testing tools including Power Appsโ EasyRepro and Flow Checker, NeoLoad (load testing), and Azure DevOps Test Manager
- Demonstrated experience with Agile methodology and DevOps processes
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment, juggle multiple tasks, and work independently and collaboratively as needed
- Experience with accessibility and screen reader testing tools (e.g., ANDI, JAWS, NVDA, WAVE, and/or axe DevTools)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and comfort working directly with client project managers, technical leads and stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test plans and test cases for SaaS cloud applications, specializing in Power Platform components and integrated solutions
- Validate canvas and model-driven apps, custom connectors, Power Automate flows, and data integrations
- Perform functional, regression, performance, and accessibility testing across environments
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers and client product managers to define acceptance criteria
- Monitor test execution in Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
- Troubleshoot defects and work closely with engineering teams to resolve issues
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree or higher education
- Federal Government experience as a contractor
- Active Public Trust (or higher) clearance
- Experience in website automated testing using Playwright
