Practicum Trainee

Summary

Join Headspace's practicum program and gain valuable telehealth experience within a leading digital health company. As a practicum student, you'll receive close supervision from licensed psychologists, participate in weekly training seminars focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion, and receive regular feedback on your skills. You'll provide high-quality telehealth services under supervision, attend meetings and training, and contribute to electronic clinical notes. The program offers exposure to various company functions and collaboration opportunities. The remote nature of the program allows for connections with trainees and staff nationwide. The practicum is a 15-20 hour per week commitment for nine months.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in clinical or counseling psychology doctoral program (PhD or PsyD)
• At least two years of prior clinical experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Familiarity, comfort and confidence with technology - various applications, tech tools, google web-apps, video conferencing, and navigating telehealth tools
• Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines with other care providers

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, telehealth services in states throughout the country under the supervision of a psychologist who holds the appropriate licenses
• Receive weekly supervision, attend assigned program meetings and training seminars, write electronic clinical notes
• Performs other duties as assigned
