Summary
Join Headspace as a practicum student and gain valuable experience in telehealth interventions within a digital health company. You will receive close supervision from licensed psychologists, participate in weekly training seminars focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion, and receive feedback on video-recorded therapy sessions. The practicum offers exposure to Headspace's service delivery model, collaboration with behavioral health coaches, and opportunities across various company functions. The remote nature of the program allows for connections with trainees and staff nationwide. The placement is 15-20 hours per week for nine months, with scheduling flexibility. All trainees gain experience in providing individual telehealth therapy and attending weekly didactic seminars.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in clinical or counseling psychology doctoral program (PhD or PsyD)
- At least two years of prior clinical experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Familiarity, comfort and confidence with technology - various applications, tech tools, google web-apps, video conferencing, and navigating telehealth tools
- Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines with other care providers
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, telehealth services in states throughout the country under the supervision of a psychologist who holds the appropriate licenses
- Receive weekly supervision, attend assigned program meetings and training seminars, write electronic clinical notes
- Performs other duties as assigned
