Summary
Join our team as a remote working Pre-Construction Coordinator! You will manage the submission and tracking of applications and documents, ensuring meticulous document control. Key responsibilities include facilitating applications for utility connections, monitoring processes, maintaining electronic folders, assisting the design team, coordinating with engineers and external entities, and supporting department management. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and proficiency in MS Excel. Prior administration and/or document control experience in a technical environment is preferred, and utility sector experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities
- Facilitate applications for Electric, Gas, and Water Point of Connections (POC & CSEP) with network operators and Asset Values (AV) post-review by estimators for key information identification
- Monitor, record, and expedite the entire process, including New Enquiries/Requotes/Revalidations and Expiries within specified timelines
- Maintain electronic folders and initiate purchase orders for switchgear as per instructions from Designers and Project Managers within strict timeframes
- Assist the design team in processing offer acceptances, customer communication for vital documentation acquisition, and ensuring timely task execution, tracking, and follow-up within set deadlines
- Establish consistent communication and coordination with Tender Engineers/Designers and external entities
- Ensure prompt submission of all relevant correspondence to the appropriate points of contact
- Support Department Manager and Directors with administrative requirements as needed
- Contribute to ongoing business process improvement initiatives within the team
Preferred Qualifications
- Have previous administration and/or document control experience in a technical or highly regulated environment
- Have prior experience in the utility sector
