Principal Developer Operations Engineer

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure Engineering in SaaS environments
• Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS cloud architecture, services, and best practices
• Proven experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, CircleCI) and zero downtime strategies
• Deep knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for building, deploying, and managing containerized applications at scale
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or Ansible
• Strong skills in monitoring and observability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog
• Familiarity with security best practices for cloud-native applications and infrastructure
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, development, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency
• Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery with a focus on automation, security, and quality
• Oversee containerization and orchestration strategies (Docker, Kubernetes or similar technologies) in production environments
• Drive best practices for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure high availability and quick incident response
• Create scripts to automate operational tasks & incorporate the solutions into infrastructure
• Collaborate with development teams to improve application performance, scalability, and deployment workflows
• Lead the code deployment process to production environments
• Mentor and guide other DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and operational excellence
