Principal Engineer

Summary

Join Centric Software's Innovation Programs Group as a Principal Engineer. Drive innovation by identifying product gaps and creating rapid prototypes using Generative AI. Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Have 16+ years of experience in enterprise systems development
• Possess a proven track record of taking projects from concept to launch
• Be proficient in Python, Node.js, Java, and modern programming languages
• Have experience with AI/ML mechanisms and event-driven architectures
• Possess strong presentation and storytelling skills

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, high-performance architecture for innovative solutions
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align technical strategies with business goals
• Utilize Generative AI to develop rapid prototypes and iterate based on feedback
• Utilize Python, Node.js, Java, Django, FastAPI, NestJs, Spring Boot for backend development, and React, Tailwawsind, StoryBook, MobX, and Axios for UI
• Transition prototypes to production, scale to the first customers, and refine configurations for broader adoption
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time
• Continuously explore and integrate new technologies to enhance product offerings
• Create comprehensive documentation and technical specifications
• Guide and mentor junior engineers
• Use Docker, AWS, and Azure for deploying solutions
• Utilize generative AI tools to expedite the development and delivery of prototypes, ensuring rapid iteration and feedback cycles
• Apply generative AI techniques to produce high-quality code, enhancing efficiency and maintainability
• Generate comprehensive test data and documentation using AI, streamlining the development and testing processes
• Leverage generative AI to explore and innovate in new technological domains, expanding the capabilities and reach of our product offerings

Preferred Qualifications

• Have expertise in cloud-native application development
• Have experience with machine learning or artificial intelligence solutions
• Have knowledge of RAG, vector embeddings, and vector databases
• Have exposure to Stable Diffusion, LLMs, and LLM agents
• Be able to design presentable UI from scratch for early-stage prototypes
• Have skill in generating synthetic data for impressive and meaningful prototype demos
