Remote Principal Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Principal Engineer in the platform team at HackerOne, where the employee will develop a broad understanding of the current security landscape, contribute to ML roadmap, mentor and coach other engineers, and work with senior engineers and subject matter experts. The position requires 10+ years of experience building production software systems and integrating/deploying ML models in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop a broad understanding of the current security landscape
• Contribute directly to the team’s velocity by writing code
• Work with your Principal and Distinguished engineer colleagues on an ML roadmap
• Mentor and coach other Engineers

Preferred Qualifications

• Ruby/Rails experience
• Experience with Computer Security from a red team and/or blue team perspective
• Experience with ML Ops pipelines for continuous evaluation, improvement and deployment
