Principal Engineer/Senior Engineer in Hong Kong, China

Summary

The Chain backend team at OKX is responsible for developing and maintaining infrastructure services for multi-public chain DApps and web3 projects. The team member will develop technical solutions, coordinate resources, improve collaboration, and cultivate industry talent. Requirements include a solid Java foundation, familiarity with various frameworks and middleware, an in-depth understanding of caching systems and distributed systems principles, and nice-to-have qualities such as clear logic, quick thinking, good communication skills, innovative consciousness, and Web3 knowledge.

Requirements

• Have a solid Java foundation
• Have a deep understanding of JVM configuration optimization strategies and tuning, IO, multithreading, concurrency frameworks, common data structures, algorithms, and Design patterns
• Familiar with mainstream open source application frameworks, such as SpringBoot, SpringMVC, Mybatis, SpringCloud, etc
• Familiar with commonly used Middleware, such as MQ, RPC, cache, message queue, MySQL, etc
• Deeply understand the design principles of common caching systems such as Memcached and Redis, and be able to accurately choose caching solutions
• In-depth understanding of distributed system principles, including CAP, consistency, idempotence operations, etc

Responsibilities

• Develop, select, and develop technical solutions for Web3 DApp projects
• Organize and coordinate resources, lead project research and development, troubleshoot problems, and ensure quality and timely completion
• Promote cross-team communication and improve team collaboration efficiency through code quality control and collaboration
• Undertake team tasks and cultivate industry technical talents

• Understanding of Web3, DApp business and technology, relevant work experience is preferred
