Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a lead writer in preparing key technical documentation
- Experience with nicotine related products, consumer goods, pharmaceutical and/or medical device
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements from agencies including but not limited to, the Food & Drug Administration (FDA), Health Canada (HC), Medicines and Healthcare product Regulatory Agency (MHRA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills including grammatical/technical writing skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to integrate, interpret, and summarize data from a variety of sources in a clear and concise manner
- BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Toxicology, or related field. MS or PhD preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare various scientific documents in support of global regulatory filings, white papers, articles for publication, memoranda, and proposals
- Extract and summarize scientific information from internal studies to identify details required for regulatory submissions
- Verify completeness, clarity, accuracy, and quality of technical documents
- Independently gather information from literature and subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write scientific manuscripts for publications
- Edit and guide the writing of regulatory/scientific documents written by other team members
- Write new and edit existing content by working closely with various departments to understand project requirement and established deadlines/milestones
- Train and mentor junior scientist and research associates
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in aerosol analytical chemistry is preferred but not required
