Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 7+ years of iOS development for high-traffic, consumer-facing applications
• Extensive experience with Swift, Objective-C, and the iOS ecosystem, including a deep understanding of architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, etc.)
• Proven ability to scale iOS applications, optimize performance, and maintain code quality
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a track record of solving complex technical challenges
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience influencing technical direction at an organizational level
• Passion for mentoring and developing engineers to achieve their full potential

Responsibilities

• Define the technical vision for Thrive Market’s iOS app and lead its execution
• Architect scalable, future-proof solutions to support the app’s growth and evolving needs
• Lead and mentor iOS engineers, fostering a culture of learning and technical excellence
• Partner with Product and Design teams to conceptualize and deliver innovative features that delight users
• Leverage expertise to optimize app performance, reliability, and user experience
• Evaluate emerging technologies and advocate for their integration where applicable
• Serve as a key thought leader, driving technical innovation and best practices across the iOS organization

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in e-commerce or subscription-based platforms
• Exposure to front-end development or cross-functional pods in an agile environment
