Requirements
- A love for playing and making amazing games
- Experience creating prototypes via programming and scripting (e.g. Lua, Squirrel, C#, Javascript)
- A minimum of 6 years of design experience, including at least one shipped title
- Self-motivated and eager to contribute in many different areas of development
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working on networked games
- Ability to thrive in a remote environment
Responsibilities
- Developing fresh game mechanics and ability sets that effectively serve player needs, then bring them to life in-game
- Preparing comprehensive design documentation, including specifications, guidelines, and technical requirements for ability kits
- Rapidly iterate on prototypes of your designs based on feedback from internal and external playtesting
- Provide ongoing oversight of designs throughout the development cycle, ensuring theyβre meeting goals from inception through live updates
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Unreal Engine 4
- Experience supporting a live service title
- Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related degree
- Passion for first-person shooters
Benefits
- $90,000 - $150,000 a year
- The estimated salary range for this role is $90,000 - $150,000 USD plus equity
