Process-Mechanical Engineer

Summary

Join our team as a Process-Mechanical Engineer in Greenville, SC (remote with travel) and lead complex engineering projects, providing technical leadership and guidance.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in process or mechanical engineering, including design, estimating, specification preparation, and construction document development
• Experience working in highly regulated environments, with nuclear project experience being strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of relevant Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), state, and local codes and standards applicable to mechanical and process engineering
• Familiarity with computer-aided drafting (CAD) software

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction to assigned engineers and teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Oversee the planning, organization, and coordination of engineering design projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives
• Prepare and review design calculations, specifications, and construction documents, particularly P&ID development
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams in design and engineering projects during planning, design, and construction phases
• Ensure the accuracy and compliance of engineering designs with relevant codes and standards
• Conduct construction document reviews and offer technical solutions as necessary
• Demonstrate expertise in mechanical systems, process design, and related equipment design
• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet project goals and timelines, ensuring technical solutions are in line with client requirements
• Maintain thorough documentation and ensure project completion within budget and time constraints
